We asked, you answered. Over 700 people on Facebook let us know what’s on their New Brunswick bucket list. There were SO many great ideas. Here’s just a small sample.
Katie - My bucket list would be to go to Hopewell Rocks and do the tours on the rocks with the tide up in kayaks! And then go to Alma of course and get some sticky buns :D
Audrey - My bucket list would be to visit all of our provincial parks. It would be awesome to strap the canoe to the roof of the car and hit the road, exploring and geocaching my way around any part of our province. Campbellton would be high on my bucket list. It is the location of New Brunswick’s first geocache.
Heather - My bucket list includes visiting all the waterfalls in New Brunswick, which I believe according to the group I am in, the count is 351 waterfalls within New Brunswick. We are working away at it and have seen quite a few, just yesterday we were at Porter’s Brook waterfalls. Many more to see.
Dorothy - My bucket list vacation would be a week at a Broadleaf Guest Ranch cabin, with a canoe for the Shepody River, my horse for the marsh trails, and a reserved seat at the Ranch restaurant. And of course a good book to read on the porch. Heaven.
Sabrina - I’d like to go to the most north-eastern point of New Brunswick and sit on a beach and take it all in. Miscou Island I think it is. We also have whale watching here in the south on our list and very near is the Eye of the Needle. I’ve seen from above but I’d like to go in from the bottom. We have a beautiful province, there’s no doubt in my mind. 💚
Sandra - This summer we visited the only area of NB we have never seen. We went to Miscou Island. Spent time in Lamèque, Shippagan and Tracadie. Beautiful area. Gorgeous beaches and scenery. So much to see in NB. Hoping to get back to one of our favourite places, Grand Manan Island. Love the Fundy Islands for the tranquility.
Laura B.- We just moved to New Brunswick in July from Ontario. We live in Keswick Ridge which in itself is amazingly beautiful and we explore that area daily. We would like to visit Grand Manan, Fundy and explore the places mentioned here as a family. So exciting to explore this province!
Mary - Would like to vacation in Bathurst area beaches. So pretty this province has everything anyone could dream of for a vacation.
Christopher - I’d love to spend some time in the tree cabins in the Miramichi and tube down the river while I’m there. Simple and relaxing.
Monique - My bucket list NB vacation is a weekend at the Ridgeback Lodge near Saint John. I want to spend it in a dream dome!
Sandra - A visit to the art gallery in Fredericton, and I’d love to see a James Mullinger show.
