When You Arrive
Hellooo Getaway! You’ve arrived in the city, dropped off your bags, and are ready for a bite and a brew. Head over to Le Patrimoine restaurant where 22 wood-fired pizzas are on the menu with homemade dough and sauces. If you’ve arrived on a Friday and feel like having a side of live music with your meal, head to Frank’s Bar & Grill. In the mood for a nightcap? Day One – Entertainment, Inside & Out
Morning: Get Cosy & Chill
Mellow mornings should definitely be on the menu for any vacation, so stop by Café Lotus Bleu where the eclectic ambiance is sure to charm you. With freshly roasted organic and fair trade coffee, delicious leaf tea, vegetarian food, and homemade treats, it’s perfectly easy to settle in for a nice, relaxing morning.
Afternoon: The Mountain’s Calling
It’s time to expend some energy at Mont Farlagne Outdoor Centre. This exciting park offers 22 ski runs, exhilarating tubing hills, an ice climbing wall, 45 km (28 mi.) of trails for snowshoeing, and even trails where you can go fat biking. All that activity is sure to build up an appetite so stop by the Avalanche Pub Restaurant for an après-ski drink and some finger foods.
Night: An Evening's That's Aces
If you’re in town on a Saturday, head to the Valley View Restaurant on the second floor of the Grey Rock Casino where you can pair your dinner with some live music. After dinner, check out the casino’s 190 slot machines, two electronic table games, blackjack, roulette, and live poker tables. But pace yourself! You’ve got another big day tomorrow…

Day Two – Shows, Snowmobiles, Skates & More
Morning: Add a Little Art
Get to know Edmundston a bit better by exploring the downtown. The walking bridge over the river is one of those iconic spots you won’t want to miss while you’re here. After your stroll, head over to the Edmundston Arts Centre to see the latest art exhibition or take a workshop to up your own artistic skills.
Afternoon: Kick Up Some Snow
As part of the epic Northern Odyssey, Edmundston is connected to 1500 km (930 mi.) of groomed snowmobile trails that offer some of the best snowmobiling in the region. Grab you sled and tackle the Odyssey!
Night – On Ice and Off
Brought your skates? Excellent – the Bill-Turgeon Stadium outdoor ice oval will have you perfecting your figure eights while enjoying the fresh air. If you came without, you can still enjoy some skating… as a spectator at a game of the Edmundston Blizzard, the city’s Junior A hockey team. When it’s time to warm up, head to the local micro-brewerey, Les Brasseurs du Petit-Sault, where each beer tells a story of the region.
