We hope this letter finds you in good health. It’s been so long since last we were together. And in all that time, you haven’t left our thoughts. Nor, dare we say, our dreams.
Don’t mistake us.
Your family has kept us good company.
Autumn is brilliant as ever.
And Winter is always up for a good time (though, if we’re being honest, has been overstaying their welcome a bit). But we must admit there’s just something about you, Summer.
“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?”
Billy was on to something. For what could compare to days with you?
Morning walks on winding boardwalks as your soft winds drift through the leaves.
Fresh seafood and cool drinks on patios in the warm sun.
Cities and streets coming alive with passion and art and music of all kinds.
How could we not miss you?
The adventure. The heat. The beauty you bring into our lives. You’re intoxicating.
We can’t wait to be reunited with you again. To explore together.
We miss you Summer, and we love you.
